How to get to the CED

Barcelona Airport – El Prat is some 30 kilometres from the campus of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) where the CED building is located. There are different ways of getting to the CED from the airport:

Metro

The Metro line L9 Sud connects Terminals 1 and 2 of the Barcelona – El Prat Airport with the city in a trip of about 30 minutes (with a train frequency of seven minutes on weekdays). At the Collblanc station you can change to the Metro L5 (blue line) to go to Diagonal station where, by means of a short passageway, you can change to Provença station of Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC – Government of Catalonia Railways). Here you take FGC lines S2 (Barcelona-Sabadell) or S55 (Barcelona-Universitat Autònoma) to the Universitat Autònoma station. All station changes are underground and there is no need to go up to street level at any point.

Aerobús to Barcelona-Plaça de Catalunya

AEROBÚS is a bus service connecting Terminals 1 and 2 of the airport with the city centre (Plaça de Catalunya) in 35 minutes. The buses run every day of the year with a bus frequency of five minutes (from 5 a.m. to five past one in the morning).

By train: Rodalies Catalunya-RENFE (Catalonia Suburban Railway Services – Spanish Railways)

Take the underground passageway to Provença station of Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC – Government of Catalonia Railways). Here you take FGC lines S2 (Barcelona-Sabadell) or S55 (Barcelona-Universitat Autònoma) to the Universitat Autònoma station. All station changes are underground and there is no need to go up to street level at any point.
